This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and home state. If you purchase a plan, your payment information is processed directly by Stripe — we do not store your credit card number on our servers.
Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, orders placed, and timestamps. This data is collected through server logs and analytics tools (Google Analytics).
Uploaded Content: When you upload storm or hail map images, we process them to identify geographic areas. Uploaded images are stored temporarily for processing and are not shared with third parties.
Cookies and Tracking: We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the Service. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
We use the information we collect to:
(a) Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
(b) Process your orders and deliver property records and skip tracing data;
(c) Process payments through Stripe;
(d) Send transactional emails related to your account, orders, and storm alerts;
(e) Respond to support inquiries;
(f) Detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the Service;
(g) Analyze usage trends to improve the product.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers: We share data with third-party providers who help us operate the Service, including Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (hosting), and Google (analytics). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only to provide their services to us.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Business Transfers: If Roof Parcel LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
The property records and skip tracing data you access through the Service are sourced from enterprise third-party data providers. This data includes publicly available property information (addresses, owner names, building details, sale history) and, when skip tracing is included, contact information (phone numbers, email addresses). You are responsible for using this data in compliance with all applicable laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Do Not Call (DNC) regulations, and any state-specific privacy laws. We provide DNC and TCPA litigator screening flags as compliance tools, but they do not constitute legal advice.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure authentication, and access controls. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes. Order history and usage records may be retained in anonymized form for analytics. Uploaded storm map images are retained for up to 30 days after processing and then deleted.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
(a) Access the personal information we hold about you;
(b) Request correction of inaccurate information;
(c) Request deletion of your personal information;
(d) Object to or restrict certain processing of your data;
(e) Request a portable copy of your data.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
